Hi Katie,
yes, off course you can. We did hire one in Carloforte (South-west Sardinia) 2 years ago but there are many places where you can do the same. We have a friend that used to do it very often (now he has got his own!) if you let us know where in Sardinia you would like to sail, we could ask him for an advice.

Hi, the idea of sailing in Sardinia really appeals and my partner has quite a bit of sailing experience, but unfortunately we do not have our own boat. Is it possible to rent sail boats out there?
