About Us
Hi, we are Luca and Manuela and we are glad to have you in our blog, we are two sardinians living out of Sardinia far too long! We go there on holiday but also lived there for twenty years so we thought to have a good angle to give some tips.
We will try to write articles about sardinian history, culture, but specially we’ll be posting on things like: how to get to places in Sardinia, what to do in different cities or towns, where to eat and how much should be a reasonable price to pay, wines (we love wines!), sports etc.
Categories are on the side bar, and if you want any further information about this blog or Sardinia in general (or particular) please send an email to info@blog-sardinia.co.uk we will be more than happy to publish any useful piece of information. Suggestions and feedback on this site and the topics are more than welcomed.
To avoid spam we moderate all comments and links are not allowed, if you have a very useful resource please email us and we will write about it.
Who we are:
LUCA: Hi! I moved to London in 2003 after working in Milan for two years, so it is now more than seven years that I do not live in Sardinia any more. In London I work in an advertising agency as Account Manager for the Italian market.
I am vice-president of the sardinian association in UK (Sardegna 2000) which is a charity aimed to promote Sardinia’s culture and territory in UK and to help integration of sardinians in UK.
When I go to Sardinia I love snorkling and fishing, I love going for excursions and, off course eating!
If you want to go there my tip is: avoid the period between 15th of July and 20th of August, it’s too crowded and everithing is more expensive.
If you have any questions feel free to drop me an email at luca@blog-sardinia.co.uk
Take it easy!
